Why I Chose Homeopathy

I’m Emily Stein—a registered nurse turned homeopath, specializing in women’s and family health. My mission is simple: to help mothers and families find safe, natural, and effective solutions for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

I grew up with homeopathy. My mom, also a nurse, relied on remedies, herbs, and natural care to raise our family. Later, in nursing school and hospital work, I saw the opposite—patients stuck in a cycle of prescriptions, side effects, and surgeries, but never true healing.

When I became a mother, I knew I wanted something different for my own children. That led me back to the roots I had always known—homeopathy—and I’ve never looked back.

Who I Help

I work with women and families who want a safer, more holistic approach to health. Many of my clients come to me feeling frustrated with conventional care and looking for lasting solutions. I specialize in:

  • Fertility and preconception wellness

  • Pregnancy and natural birth preparation

  • Postpartum recovery and emotional support

  • Children’s health (illness, allergies, chronic conditions)

Homeopathy is adaptable for every stage of life! I also support men, women, and families navigating chronic illness, hormones, immunity, and overall vitality.

My Approach

Where Motherhood meets Medicine

I don’t treat homeopathy like a trend. It’s far too wise, too rooted, and too time-tested for that. This isn’t a new discovery. Homeopathy has quietly carried families through pandemics, plagues, and personal crises for over 200 years. Read more about homeopathy here

It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t brand itself. And it certainly doesn’t need reinventing. It works—not because it’s fashionable, but because it respects the natural intelligence of the body, and reminds us that healing isn’t something we force… it’s something we honor… a practice our body can remember.

I won’t pressure you to overhaul your whole life.

In fact, the best thing you can do during homeopathic care… is pause.
Let the remedy speak. Let your body lead.

Let’s not muddy the waters with ten new therapies or a supplement cabinet the size of my chicken coop.

I know what it’s like to want to help your child but not know where to turn.
To have that deep sense that something’s off, but be told “everything looks normal,” and be sent on your way with a prescription you have no intention on filing.

And I also know what it feels like to finally find a remedy that works.
To watch your child's fever break, or their mood soften, or their sleep return—and feel that quiet confidence rise in your chest.

That’s what I want for you.

Life beyond my practice

Motherhood

I’m a wife to a hardworking husband and mom of three beautiful children. We’re doing our best to raise our kids with strong values, bare feet, and a deep amazement for all God’s creation. We’ll homeschool when the time comes - for now learning is playing. We run a roadside farm store, try to eat as much as we can from what we produce ourselves. That means pasture-raised chickens, a garden, hunting wild game to fill our freezer—and we’re even talking about raising sheep in the future. We get our milk from the best little certified raw dairy down the road and source locally whenever possible. On any given day, you’ll find me with a baby on my hip, sourdough in the oven, and a medical or research book in my hand—I’ve always been a lifelong learner, curious about many subjects and eager for intellectual challenge.

Homeopathy wasn’t something I stumbled into—it’s part of my roots. My mom used it, along with other natural remedies, when we were sick. But it took walking the halls of conventional medicine to really see the contrast. It took stepping away from protocols and prescriptions to remember how powerful the body is when given space to heal—with the subtle, intelligent nudge of homeopathy, of course.

Now, I use homeopathy to support both my family and the families I work with. If you’re seeking a safer, more respectful approach to health—one that’s wise, works with the body (not against it), and fits within the realities of motherhood—you’re in the right place.

More than natural healing

A system of medicine

I always knew I wanted to raise my children outside of the conventional paradigm. But I also asked myself: What about the urgent moments? Herbs only go so far, and they aren’t usually safe for infants… you must be cautious when pregnant and nursing… some can interfere with prescription drugs. Diet and lifestyle are foundational, but they can’t replace the need for intervention in something like a puncture wound, psoriasis or pneumonia - the urgent care, the chronic care.

I needed an actual medicine — one that truly works. Not something that suppresses symptoms, causes side effects, or creates problems for future generations. I longed for something safe, effective, natural, and suitable for anyone at any age.

Becoming a mother not only deepened that conviction - it lit a fire in me to protect my family’s health with clarity and confidence.

Homeopathy is my way to do just that.
